The audio questions for 13-1 aren’t posted, I just noticed.
I don’t think it’s unfair, but it’s not a very realistic situation. It’s just a test taking skill. It’s difficult to figure it out and then stop thinking about it immediately, the next question will be a totally different situation. Most of the test has context clues, it’s just the one section is like this. I’m getting better at it.
There are always some extra hard questions. Because it’s a pass/fail test, they don’t expect anyone to get a perfect score. But you can never know which ones you got wrong or what the right answer was on the actual test so these books are really good.
Oh, that makes sense. This is part of the listening section that I have trouble with. It is just short conversations like this but every one is a different context.
I don’t understand the answer. I thought B meant “Oh, let me try it” (to see if it works). I am thinking he is at a store and wants to test a product. I don’t know what B means in that context.
