Adjective+する means make it _____. It conjugates like “adjective + なる” in chapter 10 (p.234). 安くする means make it cheaper. ～たらどうですか goes after the same ending as in the past tense short form, so 安くした+らどうですか is correct.

Translation:

I already received money from Tanaka and Yoshida, so if you haven’t payed yet please give me 500 yen each.Tanaka*: What? We have to pay 500 yen? That’s a bit expensive. Why don’t you make it a bit cheaper?
*Tanaka is complaining about how expensive it is, so he suggests making it cheaper. There are two different Tanakas in the sentences, so it was confusing. I should have changed the names. I’m sorry about that.
It’s too bad that you couldn’t take pictures. A lot of places are like that. I like seeing inside of old temples 🙂
