KeymasterI’m glad it’s helpful. I think particles are very difficult. I’ll make more questions later 🙂

KeymasterYay! You made only 3 mistakes 🙂 Were they easy for you?
My students here in Japan made a lot of mistakes.
Here are your answers
1. に
correct!
2. で→に
This question is about objective, you need to use に instead of で. (refer to Jyoshi-objective.)
3. から→で
This question is about cause. Due to an accident, the traffic is terrible. You need to use で for this. (refer to Jyoshi-Cause)
4. で
correct
5. で
correct
6. に→で
This question is about material, so you need to use で. (refer Jyoshi-Material)
7. から
correct
Let me know if you have any questions 🙂

KeymasterNice picture! I like it 🙂
These jyoshis are pretty difficult. You need to do a lot of questions until you get used to using them. My students hate jyoshis, but they are getting better now because they use them daily. I will add more questions of Jyoshis 🙂

KeymasterGreat job Jim-san!
The questions were very difficult, but you did a good job. Here are the answers.
1.を :1.特急サンダーバード2号は9時20分に富山(を)出発します。
→ This is a starting point. The train leaves from Toyama. (refer to joshi graphic 2-2)2.を
3.に
4.で
5.に6.で :このバスは今、新宿の中(を)走っています。
→ This is a passing point. The bus is passing Shinjyuku. (refer to jyoshi graphic 2-3)7.で、で
→ These two sentences have the same meaning, so the same particle can be used.8.に
9.で、で :私は学校前(で)バスを降りて、コンビニ(で)買い物をします。
→ This is a place of action. I got off the bus at the school. (refer to Joshi 1 from 助詞の問題 thread.)10.に : 私は観光ホテル(に)泊まっています。
→ This one is a good mistake. 泊まる sounds like an action, but actually, 泊まる is considered as an existence. (refer to joshi 4 from 助詞の問題 thread.) In the same manner, 勤める and 住む use particle に for the same reason.11.を
12.で : 観光ホテルの前(で)写真を撮りましょう。
→ This is an action taking place. (jyoshi-1 from the 助詞の問題 thread.)13.に

Keymasteroh I see. In that case, you can say, “数日しか日本に滞在しませんでした。町を探検したり仏像を見たりすることに興味があったので、温泉に行くことは考えてすらいなかったです。”
Have you learned すら? it means “even.” you can replace すら with も.

KeymasterYou don’t like going to onsen? I don’t like the public baths, so I usually use the private onsen bath. Most onsen have cute bathing rooms for private use only. There is a time limit and charge, but it’s worth it 🙂 It’s like 45 minutes for 2000 yen-ish.
If you wanted to say that onsen aren’t in my top 5 destinations, you can say, “温泉は私が行きたい場所トップ5に入っていません”
