    Thanks 🙂

I totally forgot about those flowers and trees while I was in the US because I didn’t see them there. When I saw and smell the flowers this year, I felt that “this is smell/ color of autumn in Japan.”  I’m glad that I was able to share the feeling with you.

You made only one mistake! Nice!! Seems like you are getting used to using the time related particles. Good good!

    1.までに
    → Good!

    2.に
    → Good!

    3.で
    → Good!

    4.から
    → Good!

    5.に、までに
    → Good!

    6.から、まで
    → Good!

    7.に
    →まで.
The question says, “住んでいました,” so it’s past. The sentence means, “I lived in Philly until last year.”
*Here is a hint. If the time word doesn’t have a number, you don’t use に. (Review Genki 1 p. 92)

    8.に、で
    → Good!

    9.で
    → Good!

    10.から
    → Good!

Did you image search the flower? I don’t think I saw the flower in NJ or Philly, but the flower is everywhere in Japan. The color is very beautiful.

I see. In that case, you understood the explanation correctly!
    These questions are very tricky.
About number 9, やらないといけない is the same as やらなきゃいけない/やらなければいけない. The grammar is from Chapeter 12 p.273. We will review this part in October 🙂

    good job!

Great job! You were correct 8 out of 10 questions! Were the questions easy? I thought まで and までに can be difficult. Were the explanations okay to understand the differences?

    Here are your answers

    1.に → Good!
    2.から → Good!
    3.までに → Good!
    4.から、まで → Good!
    5.に → Good!

    6.まで
→ 9時 is a specific time, so you need to use までに instead of まで. The sentence means “Please submit this documents by 9.” Refer to jpeg file “jyoshi-time-related-4.”

    7.で → Good!
    8.から → Good!

    9.までに
→ This question is about “time limit.” The sentence means “I have to do this homework within a week.” Refer to jpeg file “jyoshi-time-related-5.” to check the answer.

    10.まで → Good!

    good job!
