It looks like you had some trouble with chapter 17. Your answer to question number 2 is good, but you made some mistakes in question numbers 1 and 3.

今度は、( 行く前 )に予約を( しておこう )と思います。I went to Restaurant A yesterday, but it looked crowded so I went to Restaurant B instead. I want go to Restaurant A someday, but it’s always crowded there so I haven’t been there yet. I think I should reserve a seat before I go next time.

私はアメリカにいた時も、友達が宗教に関係なくパーティーをしていましたから、セント パトリックスデーはハロウィーンみたいに誰でもパーティーをするのかと思っていました。
私は日本のセントパトリックスイベントにも行った事がありますが、St.Patrickについての説明も、お祝いをする理由も、起源も説明はありませんでした。メキシカンフードのお店や、たこ焼き屋さんや日本酒を出す屋台もあって、ユニークなイベントでした。
I see. When I was in the US, many friends held parties regardless of their religion, so I just assumed St. Patrick’s Day was like Halloween: everyone has a party. I’ve been to Japanese St. Patrick’s Day events before. At the events, there was no explanation of St. Patrick, the reason to celebrate the day, or the origin of the event. I even saw a Mexican food vendor, takoyaki vendor, and sake vendor there, so it was a very unique event.

When I saw your comment, I realized that nowadays, St. Patrick’s Day is like “the Irish event” but it is not really an Ireland national event. So, it’s a little sad thing that the “fun party” aspect of St. Patrick’s Day has been expanded all over the world.
